All Natural Milk Paint in Barn Red. The pint bag covers approximately 35 square feet. Our milk paint comes in a powdered form and is made primarily of milk and lime with pigments added. You mix water according to the packages instruction, stir and you are ready to paint. Please note that you only want to mix up as much paint as you will use in a given setting. It does not sure overly well. Milk paint will give you a unique finish reminiscent of the finished on primitive antiques. They are all natural and very versatile.
Barn red is classic! We like to start with a coat or two of driftwood and then top it off with barn red. After distressing the piece to bring out the driftwood, we then seal it with a paste wax or a rub other sealant from you hardware store. We recommend a matt or hand rubbed finish for the best and most classic results.
