Cast brass Early American tear drop pull in an antique finish. The pull has a full around tear drop. The drop is 1 1/2" long by 7/16" wide. The back plate is 1" in diameter. This pull coordinates well with our Queen Anne pulls as well as our Sheraton Style knob.
If you choose the antique finish, your pulls will be hand finished when you order is placed using a chemical process that in essence speeds up the aging process. In order to enhance the effect, each item is polished to reveal brass highlights similar to those achieved over many years of use. Also, if you order more than one item in the antique finish, each of your items will be done together to ensure that the finishes are all complimentary.
Early American furniture was made in the Colonies from 1640 to 1700. Thick, heavy construction with straight lines, rectangular features and simple designs were the halmark of these furnishing. Early American style furnishings were hugely popular from the beginning to the middle of the 20th century, the solid wood construction frequently seen in this style of furniture has it still widely in use today.
