DP-109 has a Colonial Revival or Drepression style cast brass pull with stamped brass back plates. The pull measures 3 3/4" wide with a 1 1/4" Drop and mounts to the drawer front using 3" centers or two holes that measure 3" from the center of one hole to the center of the other. When deciding whether you would like the antique brass or polished brass finish, consider the statement you are looking to make. If you have a dark piece, the antique finish will blend in more and provide a subtle enhancement. If your goal is to have the hardware be the foul point, that polished brass on a dark piece is the way to do. In our antiquing process, each item is treated with a chemical process that 'ages' the brass giving the pieces the rich patina seen on antiques. Each piece is done by hand and all of the items from your order are done at the same time to ensure that all of your pieces have the same finish. Antiquing may delay shipping by two to three days. Please note that the actual color of the antiqued item may differ slightly from the above picture due to variations with computer monitors. Mounting hardware is included. Ornate brass pulls, knobs and handles were commonly found on furnishings and cabinetry from the Colonial Revival period. From 1900 to 1940, this style of furnishings and cabinetry were found in throughout American homes.
